In an epoch making decision, Civil Aviation Secretary to Govt of India Mr.K.N Shrivastava, has ruled that Airlines are bound to pay “Commission” to Travel Agents as per Rule 135 of Indian Aircraft Rules 1937. The ruling came out yesterday as an Official Order No AV.13030 /34/2103-DT highlighting its continuity of 5th March 2010 order and disposed the appeal filed by FIA on Transaction fee.
