IAAI/533-10/NB/WPC
2nd June, 2010
To: All IAAI Members
Dear Everyone
Sub: Zero Commission
On behalf of the Travel Trade, IAAI is constrained to approach the Hon’ble High Court of Kerala, a fifth time, due to the adamant attitude of some of the Foreign Airlines.
Our Writ Petition, mandamus in nature, seeking MoCA & DGCA to enforce commission as per our Laws, has been admitted under # 16644 on 31st May, 2010, by the Hon. HC of Kerala and notices have been sent out to the Respondents viz. MoCA, DGCA & IATA India.
We have intentionally kept the errant Airlines out of the Writ this time in order to save on time and IATA India is made a party instead.
We have been requesting other Travel Associations for a dialogue but they have not responded for reasons best known to themselves.
As always, IAAI stands for Travel Agents’ legitimate right for Commission and continues to fight all alone.
We need your support and prayers.
With regards
for IAAI National Board
